Not sure whether to rent a video booth or a photo booth? Both are fun. The right choice depends on what you want your guests to take home.
What Is a 360 Video Booth?
Guests step onto a platform while a camera moves around them and records a short video, often in slow motion. They can then get the video by text, email or AirDrop.
What Is a Photo Booth?
A photo booth takes still photos. Guests can use filters, digital props or physical props, then print their photos or send them to their phones.
Video Booth vs Photo Booth at a Glance
| Photo booth | 360 video booth | |
|---|---|---|
| What guests get | Photos, with prints available | A short video |
| Best for | Keepsakes and big group photos | Videos to share on social media |
| Group size | Great for larger groups | Best for smaller groups at a time |
| Space | Fits smaller areas | Needs more room |
When to Choose a Photo Booth
Choose a photo booth if you want guests to leave with a printed keepsake, or if your space is tight.
When to Choose a 360 Video Booth
Choose a 360 video booth if your guests love sharing videos, and you have room for the platform.

I like that you talked about how 360 booths are great for events with large groups of people so every guest could view the video afterward. We are going to host a year-end party soon and are still trying to think about the entertainment that we could provide for the party. Having a 360 video booth sounds pretty nice, so maybe we should rent one.
